What is so fucking hard to understand about the fact that all the knowledgeable people on this are in the industry? It doesn't matter if you trust BP. You don't trust Chevron, Exxon, Shell, Arco, or any of the foreign national oil companies, either. If you take away BP, one of them will be put in charge. This is not something the USG has the ability to solve. There is no WH drilling rig. You'll probably find HAL is working out there, too. You have a replacement for them? Except...Obama can take control and order a mandatory national day of prayer. That might work. Would you like him to do it?
