Spain should have implemented the borrowing ban on their local guvs right away. I presume that the volatility we see today maybe due to this.

It is obvious that the strategy of individual countries addressing the debt problem is not providing the needed assurance to the markets worldwide. I hope Obama takes the lead in bringing the G20 nations together ASAP so that the Asian countries can publicly say what they are doing to assist with the European situation.

Wouldn't be surprised if the market closed -300 today.


And lets not forget that NK and SK are ready to go to war. UGH!

Watch for the ECB to cut interest rates. I think that will signal an all clear for US markets.
