Jizef - Re: "I was looking for a breakdown of Intel's sales by chip and clock speed during last quarter earnings announcement, but I could not find it"

You won't find these numbers out from Intel.

They are more secretive than the CIA and NSA regarding inner details of their product mix, sales details, etc.

Part of being paranoid, I guess - keep 'em guessing and keep 'em coming back for more!

Jozef, Let's take your link as the base for a wild guess

36% in August. Let's take that as quarter figure as well.
36% of 20M would be 7.2M.

Again assuming all Cyrix+AMD is sub-1000 which will
is 2.3M, Intel sold 4.9M.

So contrary to what I have read from the analysts that
Intel has no offering to this market, it has double the
volume of Cyrix + AMD combined.

And remember PII sold 3.6M which can more or less
offset these basement price sub-1000 CPU.
