Stan, my guess is that you and most of your Short friends would not know a line of COBOL code if it hit you in the ass. Your 'facts' directly contradict two techies I know of who have both described the MD product as a 'silver bullet'. Yes, I am sure I heard correctly. (Even asked one of them to repeat himself just to make sure.) He's been there, done that. Compared it to the competition. Used it. Tested it. AND calls it a 'silver bullet.' But, then again, I wouldn't want you to take my word for it. The general elation of Shorts is to be expected as Zitel has dipped. Reducing the board to a bunch of VBesque posts peppered with Haberisms and Rubinsearch is going a bit too far.
