(**OT CP Gary: YOU forgot to use CP during my banishment. You
are hereby banned from the thread yourSELF. btw, I just decided
to change your sentence to community service. You are now required
to continue posting HOURLY updates (replete with sarcasm about how
BORING it is for you on low volume days) of our beloved stock's
price and volume. For laughs, you should make it a table that
includes SyJunk's info, too)

*&^%$#@#-NEW ZIP KILLER-$^%*^(*^$#
The next zip-killer....n.hand!
Might not be so crazy if you think about it. Your digital camera could also be used as a portable drive with the right ports. It's the right size(smaller/better than 1.44 floppy). It should be the right price, especially if meant to be included in other OEM consumer products. It's large enough for all uses currently handled by 1.44meg discs and most zip uses. Users handling larger files would be better served by Jaz1, Jaz2 or SparQ(LOL-Has SUNW made any statement about the use of Sparq?). It's size fits the progression from 5" to 3.5" to 2" unlike zips larger format. My bet is that n.hand WILL be readable by existing zip units with an adapter. It should be easier to squeeze into notebooks than zip, with lower power consumption as well.

No, I'm not 100% serious in this analysis, but, if an n.hand like product were being developed by another co., you know that more than a few bears would be touting it as the next zip killer.

Big Announcement Guess-I agree with those predicting an alliance with a major OEM(HWP would be great) for the release of an n.hand enabled digital camera.
