KT,

"The Arizona Department of Education recently began telling school districts that teachers whose spoken English it deems to be heavily accented or ungrammatical must be removed from classes for students still learning English,"

Personally I see nothing wrong with requiring that teachers actually speak the language properly before becoming teachers, but I'm sure the teacher's union disagrees. After all, the union rarely even requires that the teachers understand the material they are teaching either.

arizona's people aren't doing anything - individuals are.

are there bad individuals - yes. i don't support that kind of crap. those people need to be dealt with.

to label all arizona people for the actions of a few is to make the exact same mental error that racists make - extrapolating the actions of a few onto the whole.

------------------------------

still no comment on nearly $8 trillion spent by democrats with the following results:

1. 40 million poor on food stamps (administered as a profit center by jp morgan)
2. a 2010 run rate of 2.5 million foreclosures
3. 8 million households 90 days or more late on their mortgage
4. less than 1% interest rate on savings accounts
5. unlimited cash and credit for the nation's biggest banks and, if they lose their bets, the people getting all the benefits of 1 through 4 above get the tab.

nearly $8 trillion spent by democrats sure does buy a lot for the poor, the needy and the retired and the widows of this nation, doesn't it?

oh, and a disproportionate of those getting obama benefits 1-4 are african americans.

do you ignore these facts because you are scared of this discussion? why would you be scared of this discussion?

not to mention your profile is a lot easier on the eyes when your head isn't in the sand. ;-)

liberal state taxing poor, needy and unemployed - all over represented with african americans and hispanics...

Message 26565913

CA is a failed state Knighty - how's that going to work out for poor people?

why is CA collapsing?

b/c bush/obama controllers illegally blew the biggest credit bubble in history and the collapse is assured.

but you love poverty growing exponentially now that your "team" is growing it.

too bad poor folks can't eat the interest payments on CA's debt that will fall on them - they'd feast every meal.
