Not yet. Nobody has asked "If BP is greedy, why don't they drill in Bakersfield/El Paso? Tulsa"?
And, nobody has asked, "Do the natural resources exist to make enuf electric cars for 300M 'Muricans...and 1.3 B Chinese, and 1.0B Indians..."
Let me know the first time you hear somebody important say "Peak Oil". I'm willing to bet we don't even do the climate/energy bill this year.

To switch from a oil based economy to a green economy takes time and needs a major overhaul of the infrastructure. It is nice to see him visiting a solar plant in CA. But he needs to focus on other areas such as green energy infrastructure etc such as design of cars with in-built solar panels, increase funding for research in thin film solar technology etc.
