I thought Palin pulled some of them aside and told them to quit or else.

Nah. She was too busy shopping.

JIm, Palin had to quit for wo reasons:

1) she was way over her head and just got into troule deeper and deeper.

2) she alianated everyone in both parties. She went through something like four chiefs of staff in her two years and the entire legislature was out to get her, both pubs and dems.

She had also broken so many laws she was fighting a rear guard battle e.g. she was collecting per diem while working out of her house. She was the first governor ever to not live in the governors mansion in Juneau.

She was hiding out in her house and somtimes worked out fo an Anchorage office. She is also a pathological liar and all her lies were coming back to haunt her.

She fired the top state trooper becasue he would not fire her sisters ex husband e.g.

She was an unmitigated disaster. Even the hard right hated her by the time she quit.
