Not sure if that is anything more to worry about.

The engineers are doing some serious dinkering over the next day or two. From the BP site.

Throughout the extended top kill procedure – which may take up to two days to complete - very significant changes in the appearance of the flows at the seabed may be expected. These will not provide a reliable indicator of the overall progress, or success or failure, of the top kill operation as a whole. BP will report on the progress of the operation as appropriate and on its outcome when complete.

I'm checking to see if any of the British Press picked up on this story. (it was Terries link shown yesterday)

I would have thought they would jump on it. The greens have been losing ground recently, and the booming problem should get um mad. I would have thought... Nothing doing yet.

/edit Actually, reading the CEO's statement more closely, maybe he has been acting on what has been said.

"We have let people down in our defence of the shore, and we are going to redouble our efforts,"
