Good question. For some reason the EPA and the U.S. government has let a foreign company (BP) use over 800,000 gallons of the very toxic and controversial Corexit dispersant -- it's NEVER been used in this quantity before...In Britain Corexit was banned over 10 years ago...Why are we allowing BP to conduct a science experiment in our Gulf of Mexico when we don't have long term safety data on whether this is the right thing to do for the water column and the ecosystem..??
