Same thing. Results WILL BE MEASURED and, to the extent that the policies have already been implemented and are affecting the economy now, they *are being* measured.

And will CONTINUE TO BE MEASURED... in the real world laboratory.

(Unlike your thought experiment.)

Long-term results can, (of course!!!!!!), not be discerned until the longer term has transpired.

But the results for the short-term are starting to clearly come in... and the very article I posted was remarking upon their effects....
