Uh...we don't know the effects of stoping water circulation in a marsh? How many acres affected so far? 30...15 need cleaning. One is too many, but only 30? I figured 2000 or more, by now. If you listen to Jindal and Carville, all of LA is under a coasting of oil. I never heard nearly this level of hysteria when people were dying in NOLA after Katrina. Reading subjectively from body language and facial expressions, both Landry and Suttles looked less stressed than in earlier appearances. I actually am feeling optimistic they think this has a good chance of working. Suttles did talk about what next steps would be taken if it fails - new BOP, LMRP collector, etc. Yes, the news is positive but I am staying down low......don't want to be disappointed when I wake up tomorrow. Suttles again referred to the need to continue drilling a successful relief well in order to put in the official plug even if topkill is successful. Yup. Even with cement, the current well is vulnerable.
