>>Speculation. Big announcement = nhand.
Clik = new name for nhand.<<

I'll buy this one.

For all those expecting some great new product from the Iomega Hype Machine, forget it. Remember the letdown after the "4-square" sham? All this "New Announcement" is will be the re-named no.hand.

BTW, has anyone bothered to check out the specs on this no.hand debacle? This thing is pitifully slow. It doesn't hold much storage either. 20MB is not enough memory to hold any more than 1 picture that even pretends to rival a half-assed 35mm film photograph.

Digital photography sucks, and the lackluster sales of these devices prove that consumers sometimes aren't as dumb as companies like Iomega think they are. Granted, there are professions where cheap, low-quality photography is acceptable. Realty is one. However, there is a reason why 100% of Hollywood films are shot on film as apposed to digital video tape. There is a reason why professional photographers use film and not digital photography-- Quality and Artistry. Film is used with great love by families to photograph life's events like joyous weddings, as well as sullen funerals. Who wants to remember these events the way digital photogrpahy does-- with green tinged newborn babies or fuzzy low-res class reunion pictures?

As an aside, I feel it ironic that Iomega has chosen a name (Clique) for one of it's products that many unsatisfied Zip owners have used in reference to Zip failure (Clicking Death). You can read about the Zip Clicking Death Syndrome in any one of the Iomega newsgroups.

Clique will not be the roaring success some here hope for. It's just a small, select group that will use it.

Just trying to add a voice of reason to this thread,

Rocky
