It's sickening to watch that live feed of the oil leak. I have a bad gut feeling their plan is going to fail. If it does, they should ban production on all BP offshore oil rigs until proper safety equipment can be put in place.

If you didn't see 60 Minutes last Sunday, its a must see, you won't believe what they did:

(Well worth watching)

There were pay offs. WHat else is new..

Greed and corruption galore in our government.

In the past administration the OIL COMPANIES WERE PERMITTED TO
SUPERVISE AND MONITOR THEIR OWN SAFETY RULES.

Outcome is what we have now.

There were payouts to have allowed this to occur.

THAT is why government, an honest one, is necessary no matter how much the tea party members and Jindl and others don't want it. When a disaster hits it's nice to have support.

AND monitoring what companies will do for greed and profit
is another thing. There have to be regulations and
follow ups. Profits are too important to allow all
these companies to make their own decisions including
the coal company in WV.

I am against big government but one can see why it becomes
a neccesity.... BUT an honest one.
