We have Democratic Senators like Nelson now coming out against the handling of this crisis. This is in sharp contrast to what the Republicans did with Bush where they blindly followed him and jumped off the cliff in 2008. Ii am also hoping that we change our laws to require these companies to simultaneously drill a relief well to handle such blowups. That the Senators from Louisiana in spite of being from different parties are joined together at the hip and do not advocate making the laws being made more stringent against the oil industry says a lot on how things are going in the dark world of politics.
