Matalin grew up in IL...it was Carville who grew up in LA. He may feel more strongly about the state than she does.

FL-Sen: Crist backs repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" by Barbara Morrill Thu May 27, 2010 at 03:16:14 PM PDT It looks like Florida Governor Charlie Crist read the writing on the wall ... or more to the point, the poll numbers: Charlie Crist, who previously opposed repealing Don't Ask Don't Tell when he was a Republican but has since been under pressure to take a stand on current repeal efforts, will now support the repeal compromise, his spokesperson confirms to me. Crist's march to the mainstream continues.
