I already bought with one hand (CVX, XOM). Can't bring myself to buy BP, but it'll continue bouncing if they shut er down.

Oil sands look good after the dust settles.

"If the top kill works, buy with both hands."

Buy what? Oily Pelicans?

US oil is dead my friend. There will be no Artic drilling, no pipeline through Canada for Alaskan oil and no pipeline through BC for oil sands. No oil tankers down the BC coast. No more platform construction. No offshore drilling in California.

Again what should we buy?

Jim,

For a one day bounce and then it must be sold.

BP must be facing potentially unlimited liability and it is completely undefined at this point.

But I might join you for the day for a couple of points.

Top Kill would have worked better as a movie starring Jean Claude Van Dammed, Steven Segal, Bruce Willits, and Sean Connery
