Shows my appalling lack of literary muster: I was all over "Scott Patrick Adams" like Catbert on an intern, but I never thought to accuse you of being 200 year old author.

Leatherstocking

jas, and Scott too,

Just got done installing Quicken 98 and I seem to be having problems similar to those you have described.

I only use Quicken to track my stock and mutual fund portfolio so this is the only area of Quicken I am familiar with. When I hide a security then go to the portfolio display the stocks and their amounts may change to some value that is totally wrong, and some may not display at all if I check the View Hidden Securities box all is well, except of course having a bunch of garbage on screen.

One of these times I may learn to not be the first on my block to buy new software. This has got to be a bug not a feature.

May try their support telephone tomorrow before heading out the door. If I am unable to connect with a live person I will most likely return it for a full refund.

Anyone have a better way to track one's portfolio?

TIA
