Socialism is an economic system. It has nothing to do with a political system.

Libertarianism is fine as long as it is contained in a democratic system. I could call myself a libertarian. I trst as a left wing libertarian along with nelson Mandela and the Dali Lama.

The problem with Rands ideas of unregulated capitalism is that in the extreme it UNDERMINES democracy.

We just saw that with Bush's uregulated Wall street debacle and the present unregulated oil spill debacle. In both instances the corporations were undermining democratic rule.

When capitalism undermines democracy we call it fascism
