50 year ago I worked in a paper bag factory and one of our largest customers was for bird guano. Something Pacific. They were among our largest orders, sometimes hundreds of thousands of large bags and they were really heavy having 6 layers of paper including one of asphalt.

I was a pick up boy and by the end of my shift my arms and hands hurt so bad. I remember when I got down to one hour left I used to always say: "I can stand anything for an hour"-lol.
