I just been able to catch up and thought I'd attempt pundit world in hopes of news. ouch... turned on Rick on CNN, who was fuming that BP had stopped pumping mud for 16 hours and we we we didn't KNOW!!! they had Killed the topkill. then he phone talks with a science engineer type dude who calmly explains why that might have been done and why it could be good and right to do it. and setd dude tried to explain what the procedure is. Rick nods a lot, forefinger contemplatively on lips, eyebrows pursed. then he hangs up and repeats his trope of they KILLED the top kill and we we we didn't know. and Obama had his bat phone off and didn't know. the horror. O didn't know every move at every moment. I asked my dad if I had told him early yesterday afternoon that they had stopped pumping, and he said I had. so how come Rick says he didn't know at 1:30 pm yesterday??? he need birdies with better connections? the fat lady continues to wait in the wings, warming her voice up.
