"you just can't go dumping sand into the ocean. "

No kidding. A big concern is that the Louisiana plans will make the problem worse by channeling the oil into the marshes.

Once again, Jindal gets the national stage only to make an ass out of himself.

Its rather amazing what people are coming up with for solutions.......from dumping an aircraft carrier on the leak to nuking the BOP. We need to come up with something to keep people busy so they won't be focusing so much time thinking about the leak. To dangerous for the country and the GOM.

This is stupid. Jindal is working with people who know this territory better than any people on the planet. They are trying to protect it from crude oil. They're not going to make it worse. At worst, they'll maintain the status quo.

In no way am I doubting your expertise on the subject. But you might want to consider that there are other people who are also well educated about this subject who are closer to the situation than you are.

After Jindal had receded into obscurity Obama's inability to act has brought Jindal back into the limelight. He looks pretty impressive.
