Remember the debate when he said he couldn't promise to bring the troops home by a date certain.

Washington (CNN) -- President Obama said Wednesday he is "confident" his administration will meet its self-imposed deadline to start a U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan in July 2011.

Obama throughout the campaign that if elected the troops would be withdrawn by August of this year. That we recognized as a campaign lie to get elected. He was and is too inexperienced to make that call. Unfortunately, many people believe the lies of their party members. It was a serious mistake.

Obama used the war to get elected. He now turns his back on the soldiers and goes on another vacation instead of honoring them at Arlington Cemetery on Memorial Day.
