Sam,

I do not remember him from back than and what his positions were. I find his ideas genuinely honest and level headed. I have issues with nearly anyones views but I find nothing to complain about his.

To be honest I very much supported Bush tax cuts and all stimulative policies at the time. I did not see the folly that would take hold in our country. I truly blame myself for voting for GW, it was not well thought through on my part. It was a matter of ideology, exactly the worst possible reason to support someone.

That post should have read:
I wonder if Einhorn was one of the Wall Street people who so loudly proclaimed back in 2001-02 that paying off the debt would be disastrous
or at least some sort of calamity.

It is hard to believe that it was just 10 years ago that we were debating that.
