There are few people willing to stand up for principle these days.

We have become a society of situational ethics coupled with the "me first" mentality.

Barack Obama is representative of this point of view.

In fact, I daresay he is our first President who regards the demands of the job in the same way a union worker would decide how much time he is required to devote to work.

Since he is so enamored of European socialism, we would all be better off if he just took a job with the Eurorail system.<g>

You would think somebody who won the primary by defeating a sellout would be smart enough to avoid being a sellout himself.

I would like to see a genuine display of honor by a politician. No hemming and hawing. Stand up for principles against their own interests and that of winning.

Incredibly, as bad as I thought Harry Reid was, he was featured in American Rifleman for promoting some shooting range. I didn't know he had it in him.
