Can't understand why these meetings need to be held in downtown Toronto which creates not only a security headache and the commensurate $1 biilion plus budget, but causes mayhem for all those events previously scheduled in downtown Toronto such as school proms, Blue Jay games etc.

Police are advising Torontonians to leave the city that weekend if that is an option to avoid gridlock.

Events 10 miles from the core are being cancelled as traffic on main streets, even that far away, may be severely restricted.

I know of few Toronto residents who favour this outlandish imposition by a few! Many locals are upset but few actively oppose as their/our rights are being violated by this unecessary extravagance. What a friggin' waste of taxpayer's money, an unecessary expropriation of normal activities and a garish extravaganza for these few heads of governments...note not leaders, 'cause if any real leadership were in place, 3 million in the GTA (greater Toronto area) would not have been inconvenienced and the $billion budget would have been reprioritized based upon REAL need, for which there is an accelerating list as bread lines grow!

It's almost as if the real agenda here is a conditioning experiment.
