we still don't get it? I have to count myself among those who are tired of war even though we've never experienced it first hand, but recognize its necessity to thwart evils that are worse. If our government does not find an effective way to do the one job it must do, we have no choice because the jihadists will bring it to us. If we have Jihadists (or whatever it is legal to call them) wandering around our neighborhoods doing their thing to us, and it interrupts our morning lattes and backyard barbeques, and some more of us die over here, we'll get the picture. And then, if we still have the capability, we'll all say in unison "Let's help them fight their wars OVER THERE by sending a few of our best to live among them and teach them to fight on their own turf."
