It's not US West - they are one of the leaders. It's all the BB's, they wasted a fortune on ISDN service and nobody wants it now. If you want to see customer response, wait until BellSouth has it available. You are 100% correct, the cableco's are going to steal this market and we are going to be forced to go to them to get decent access to the net instead of being able to use (at least in my case) the much preferable local telephone company. BellSouth is customer service heaven, and MediaOne is at the exact opposite end of the spectrum. I hope this US West news wakes them up! The local cableco's here aren't exactly burning up the pavement laying fiber or two-way HFC.
