Chinu, I just said BP should be working on the well. I said they should not be involved in the clean up. That the government should coordinate the clean up. I was only involved in clean up. Ours was a spill and that is all I know. YOu are right I know nothing about the well, but I never said I did and have not even talked about havign government involved in capping the well except to say we should not drill in water so deep we cannot stop a blowout that does this much damage. And why would our getting super tankers to collect oil take away resources from capping the well. That statement of yours baffles me??? Getting more cleanup equipment can, and should, be done IN ADDITION TO capping the well. They are two different operations i.e. capping the well and clean up. And all the more reason to let the government oversee the clean up. A good government bureaucrat can do that better than BP any day of the week. Someone who is very ignorant about the technical aspects of plugging a well at that depth. Bureaucrats, such as in the MMS, are not only corrupt but land us into disastrous situations with their decisions. Obama, by training, has demonstrated laudable skills in prioritizing issues during a crisis. Your solution: "bring in supertankers and take away resources and energy and let oil spew"!!! Your approach is similar to "Go fight the terrorists in Iraq even though the source of terrorism is in Afghanistan." Sounds familiar?
