On balance -- re 3rd commandment -- disrespecting God's name as in a curse or as in invoking His Name to justify evil or mischief -- both of these are bad and both have been going on since He made His Name known. I understand what the writer was trying to say. Christian-zionism dishonors God -- I am not sure that I would lump it under the 3rd commandment. But the main way c-z dishonors God -- Hagee and others who preach this stuff -- is that they act as though there are different arrangements for different people as to how they might be saved. This puts down Jesus Christ as it says that His sacrifice was somehow not necessary for a particular class of people. This is serious falsehood. You are also correct that christian-zionism as a movement is very young and has been used to snow and manipulate the ignorant into all kinds of evil deeds, but many believing people in this country have been misled in ignorance. What's to be done -- other than tell the truth? Give the history of the movement and show it for what it is? The 3rd commandment is something all real Christians need to take seriously -- why? Because God takes it seriously -- His Name is important. If we can't do something in His Name -- perhaps we shouldn't be doing it at all??

Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people. The globalists know that the key to their success lays in the destruction or simply banning of worldwide religion because that alone has the potential to create enough 'withdrawal' (religion as a drug) violence to wipe out 90% of the worlds population. Of course everything has a time and place and they need to steal the worlds riches first. This is almost complete. Look for the UN to get together and decide (rightly so) to ban organized religion as the final solution. This will absolutely happen. This is a fundamental teaching of Christianity from the Bible. Here is where Norman and others go wrong. The political and religious polarization is never going to be stopped by man himself. It's delusional to think mankind will wake up before its too late. It is not a Christian teaching to get involved in politics and try to change things, prevent things, preempt things or save and perpetuate the political, religious and commercial systems of this world. That is a purely Satanic endeavor. This saying from Paul explains it all: "Therefore, we are ambassadors substituting for Christ, as though God were pleading through us - we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God." Ambassadors do not meddle in the internal political and military affairs of the countries where they serve. Rather, they remain neutral. Their job is to represent and advocate the government for which they speak. In the case of Christians who usually pray for God's Kingdom (government) to come and God's will to be done on Earth, true Christians are believers that the Kingdom is a real government and so to meddle in any of mans governments is traitorous. The is no reference in the Christian Bible that indicates that footstep followers of Christ (Christians) should ever breach their neutrality towards mans affairs or get involved in any government. James 4:4 "You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God?" An ambassador who tries to represent 2 governments or systems of things is an adulterer and therefore an enemy of God. There have been many attempts by false Christian organizations who are in themselves part of this system of things to water down this message but all one has to do is look around and ask themselves if the explaining away of these scriptures has yielded a better world. Just like the MSM obfuscates the truth so does the world empire of false religion. Most humans do not have the intellectual capacity to cut through the fog that is blinding them. This is why the NWO advocates will win in the end as they have a perfect understanding of how to further their cause by manipulating world events. If a man thinks he should change things on this planet then he should not use Christianity as a vehicle for change because if he finds a group of so called Christians who embrace this concept then one can be sure they are NOT real Christians. ------ Religion is a Snare and a Racket
