Really? You're surprised? It should have occurred to me, but didn't. This is the type of thing that a good PI and attack on Obama by McCain would have got him elected. A full out attack during the first debate, with a refusal on McCain's part to talk about anything but Obama's character, would have won it for him. "The content of your character" would have been a good way to start it. But it wasn't in McCain to do this. You would think that his wartime experience would have brought him to it. The Clinton's must have known and stayed away from it. Hurt them too much of the base.
