Jack We really differ very little in our opinions of "Online Brokers" its just that you aren't on the other threads telling everyone who inquires about those brokers all about online brokers. To be fair you really should tell both sides of the story. Of the true deep discount online brokers Datek performs better at what it does than do the others. I probably would not have had my problem with Ameritrade if I had not first dealt with Datek and was used to accurate and real time trading information, I stupidly thought that all online brokers would / could meet Dateks standards. Ameritrade didn't and I learned a pretty expensive lesson. Rod
