I don't know about that. But I discovered yesterday that a mutual fund that my brother owns/owned had BP as one of its top 5 holdings. That fund has lost 30% of it's value since the last quarterly statement in March. He is going to pull out of that fund today. Hope it is not too late since the stock has room to go down further. however, if the capping is a success, I expect the stock will bounce back somewhat. BP may be headed for bankruptcy or maybe bankruptcy protection.
