the Israeli siege of Gaza is illegal under international law.
Not only the siege of Gaza also the occupation and the settlements are illegal too. You do not see Hawk chippering at the illegal actions of Israel.

The boats were in international waters and the Israeli siege of Gaza is illegal under international law.

Could you please quote the appropriate "international law" that prohibits Israel from blockading the sea lanes of another state waging war against them?

Are we to then understand that all blockades are illegal, regardless of the state of hostilities (war) between two or more nations?
