>>> requires the U.S. Attorney General to prosecute the "Responsible Party" causing an oil spill,<<<

Of course. And I am very glad that the government is considering bringing criminal actions. I wish tht we were doing that for the bankers. It would set a healthy precedent to discourage misconduct in other industries. It doesn't seem that the few jail birds in the Enron case helped people think twice before misbehaving.

But we all know that the spill is bad. You can watch it evolve in real time on BP's "Blow-Out Cam." Holder's trip is nothing more than a photo op for him - or a presence or "we are sooooo concerned" indicator for Obama. Hell. Obama can brief Holder the next time he is in town. Obama has already been to the mountain. What more do you need. Holder won't take Obama's word that it is baaaaaaaaaad?!??!?! Holder is going to second guess the Prez?? Holder won't act unless he sees it for himself!?!?!

Cheap, cynical photo-op and nothing more on Holder's part, not to mention the expenditure of a few more precious White House carbon credits to fly him down and back.

BTW: I would really be interested in a 9'-12' color glossy of Air Force One flying over the oil tainted GOM. It will match my other one of the overflight of New York City. Do you know when they will be out? I hear that you can get them in advance if purchased through Barbara Boxer's Senate campaign.
