>It is stunning that such weak people have control of the nation's media. Very disconcerting.........how can we remain a strong nation with such weak people running around screaming the sky is falling. <<

If that oil destroys thousands of acres of mangrove swamps and estuaries and coral reefs, the sky will have fallen!

As soon as someone comes up with a solution that is workable, I am all ears. As a reminder, the problem isn't the cleanup or whether the best oil minds are based in Houston or DC, the problem is an uncapped well in the middle of the GOM that no one seems to have a solution for capping immediately. All this hand wringing and hysteria may make people feel better but it isn't helping the problem.
