I doubt the corp HQ issue is going to mean much to either Houston or Seattle.

I know you want to think Houston is about to crash or something, but I wouldn't hold my breath. This is another case of your opinions being politically driven imo .... you associate TX with the GOP and conservatism ... except for the one city in TX (Austin) with a liberal image ... so you're down on Houston. Did you know Houston typically elects Democrat mayors (the current one is a lesbian)? Technically, the position is non-partisan but in fact, the mayors have been Democrats for a long time. OK, they're business oriented centrist Democrats (one of the few places where that type of Democrat still exists it seems to me) but Dems none the less.
