Well, you want to drag in intangibles.

I don't think you understand the concept of intangibles in financial transactions. A job offer, if intangible, can have value whether or not there is a salary attached to it.

This is clearly a violation of the statute. Now, if the road Obama wants to take is the "Someone did it before, so it is okay" path, I think he's asking for it.

He claimed he would run a cleaner administration (although, his predecessor's two terms were squeaky clean). The People aren't going to like it when Obama starts saying, "Well, this is business as usual, can't you see?"

Those have been traditionally excluded for a number of reasons.

People keep saying that but I can't seem to find any evidence this was done during the Bush years. You got anything?
