Its a shame what I wrote is viewed as outlandish. We're not supposed to have politicized justice. Well we have throughout our history so get used to it. Who do you think writes the laws?; hint, politicians. So the ideal of blind justice should be thrown out? ----------------------------------------------------- Has it occurred to you that your own rhetoric is harmful to Florida tourism? You've said the Gulf of Mexico is a sewer and will be essentially forever ... so why would anyone who listened to you ever want to visit Florida? That's not what I said but... what should I do, lie? You said: "The Gulf is turning into a SEWER." Maybe you should tell the hotels, resorts in western Florida just get out of the tourist business? After all, no one would want to vacation on a sewer. OTOH if you haven't actually seen any oil yet, it may be a little premature. I notice inode said this morning he'd just been to Destin (last w/e) and all the hotels and restaurants were packed and it was beautiful. Maybe those folks in the panhandle are taking your tourist $. ----------------------------------------------- I know you want this to just go away but really you have to face it. And I think you want to make this the greatest catastrophe in world history. Just heard on the way in that Gov Charlie Crist wants to call a special session of the legislature to amend the constitution to forever ban drilling in Florida waters. Redundant since it's already against FL law. Half measures. They need to ban the use of gasoline, natural gas, and petrochemicals. Ask Eric.
