WARRENVILLE, Illinois -- BP is taking calls from people who have suggestions about stopping the oil leak in the gulf.
BP posted a number on its website and asked: "Do you have any ideas to help us?"
Some folks think they might be able to offer the oil company a better solution than scientists to fix the leak in the Gulf of Mexico.
Anyone with a suggestion for BP can call (281)-366-5511.

++++

As a real estate agent, my primary concern is this:

What are they paying for a commission? -g-
If none is offered, is Travis available on a contingency fee basis?
After all, this is America!

Seems to me they could bring in some prisoners to help clean up. Chain gang moppers.

I still like the explosives idea ... but not sure about the physics of blowing something "in" 1 mile under the ocean -- what is the pressure there again??

Let's see rho g z = 1,020 kg/m^3 9.8 m/s^2 1600 m = 152 atmospheres -- I think I slipped a decimal place -- wait

oops 158 atmospheres ... I think blasting at those pressures provides some challenges?? I don't know
