graph comparison is interesting -- but you have to mentally chop off the prior graph to make sense of it -- it looks like we have already wandered around more -- I expect more wandering around. How about some lower volatility for 1-2 weeks, then whammo ...

Yeah, that's my preferred, so we'll do what you said -- crash or launch. We have so many boogeymen out there now and so much pessimism, one could make the sentiment argument for launch -- just ... one more time <g>

So what time tomorrow should be buy the crash puts or calls if we like super-duper leveraged bear funds??
