We surprised my hubby's Mother and Father with a party on their 50th. It was really fun, and they just loved it. Everyone from their town showed up and we almost didn't have enough room in the hall we'd rented. His Father died the next year, and we're so happy we did what we did. We run across the photographs once in awhile............the memories are priceless.

I was looking at pictures of my Grandparents who celebrated their 50th with a small family party...Funny, they both looked so old to me as a 20-something...and they still looked older than I think we do...but then again, the mind does deceive one sometimes...<ggg>

Seriously, it truly doesn't seem like the years have been so many. Heck, I haven't even trained him yet...but it's not for lack of trying....<wink>
