<I did ask before ... >

No you didn't... you asked, among other things:

<And how does "evo-devo" explain pre-adaptation?>

Now that you've asked:

<How does evo-devo explain mutations occuring BEFORE they're needed?>

You'll have to clarify what you're talking about... are you going "tangential" or asking directly of the pieces assertion? In other words, needed by WHAT? I would assume you're talking of "needed by the Darwinian process" that the piece asserts??

In which case you need to answer my question which preceeded yours: "Do you know what he's taking about with "Darwinian process"??

<A simple question deserving of a straight answer. Please try not to dodge it.>

It SHOULD be simple... but when I'm speaking to someone who gets confused and is more interested in finding SOMETHING to be right about rather than the issue at hand, it's NOT that simple. :))

FWIW, from know on you'll need to link your assertions that I'm incorrect or I'll not proceed. It'll avoid confusion like your current one.

It'll also keep you from getting frustrated to the point of making completely inaccurate assertions like:

<<A simple question deserving of a straight answer. Please try not to dodge it.>>

Take you're time re-reading and figuring things out. Feel free to study the books I've linked as well... :))
