It was a joint effort by all of the siblings. At the time hubby's youngest sister was going through dog grooming school, so we told the folks we were all going to watch her groom dogs in a competition. The ruse really worked because you could tell his Mom and Dad were genuinely surprised. Those were the days. We haven't all been together since his mother died in '98. Many of my husband's siblings are coming here for the wedding in Sept. I was a really lucky DIL...........I just loved his Mother.........we got along fabulously.
