You supplied even one thing for the nineteen fifties' tax loads?

Again - Directly responding to that question - "I posted a link to the tax tables going back generations, so I did post the income tax information. And we all know that payroll taxes used to be much lower. And I've posted information about the state tax total burden being lower in the past."

Also again - Here is the income tax data I linked to
taxfoundation.org
It goes back to 1902.

So the federal income tax data is there. I posted data about state taxes in total and how they have increased, and everyone involved in this discussion knows the payroll tax has gone up (a point which you haven't challenged either). The only other category is misc. federal taxes. They have gone up as well, but I didn't provide data on them. OTOH there really is no need to provide such data, since even if they had gone down the other tax increases would overwhelm them.

So - Once again - "With federal income taxes slightly lower to very slightly higher, payroll taxes significantly lower, and state taxes lower, there really isn't any way you get a higher tax burden for the middle class back then."
