off topic re yukon golds:

kaminak KAM is coming off its high. but right now atac ATC is the place to be.

i just trimmed back on the kam to add more atac.

my concept, and i dont know if it is any good, but it is what i am doing, is to muscle up on the one that is moving ahead, see if i can catch a more or less perma-wave.

kam still a good stock, i agree.

i also wanted to try out a position in gpd golden predator. i like their heavy drill program and wouldn't mind getting a "free" starter position in silver predator, based on the possiblity that they are going to distribute some of it to shareholders.

In my last posting i told you of the fun I was having shorting. Here's an example.

Today I opened a small short position on a $7 spec, and wouldn't you know it, the stock started moving in the opposite direction. Rather than close out the short in my margin account, I opened a corresponding long position in my RIFF account.

That's crazy, you say! But every position I have is afforded a warrant price profile. First, any loss is cut short by a measured stop-loss, and second, size is progressively increased to a maximum if the stock trends in the right direction. Thus the position has become a nascent straddle !! LOL
