The Shell Puget Sound Refinery is located 60 miles north of Seattle and about 60 miles south of Vancouver, BC, Canada in picturesque northern Puget Sound. It is one of two refineries and several other heavy industry facilities on March's Point, a peninsula that divides Fidalgo Bay and Padilla Bay and just across from the community of Anacortes, Washington

It receives crude feedstock via pipeline from Canada and by tanker from Alaska and foreign sources.

the closest refinery is over 120 miles from the ocean. There are none on Puget Sound.

Why did you even try to say that? It isn't true. Do you want me to dig up pictures?

About twenty years ago my partner and I in our boat volunteered to help clean up in a oil spill in the San Juans.

And did you do it? How did you clean it up?
