maybe. but that is not the question. not. will less oil wash up on the shores? will it? that is the question. period. and frankly, I do not think most 'liberals' or others outside the coast in the south give a fak. I don't. be that as it may... one hopes the oil will get sucked up now. that ain't complicated.

If they are successful in putting the cap on and channel the oil through a funnel to the surface and collected into a tanker, BP can just harvest the oil, take it to a refinery and sell the refined product, right?


Yes...but first they have to make sure all the water is separated out.

Yes, what they say, and no, they will lose money on the deal, as well as pay us royalties on it.

(Those 2 relief well drilling rigs lease for about $700,000/day.)

I hope they get the oil, refine it, make money on it because they are gonna need it for the cleanup and lawsuits coming their way.

The important thing is to stop it and clean it up. That's all of us on the gulf coast really want right now.
