Note 50 degrees on Wednesday. This is early in the season for those types of temperatures and imagine how much heat that is putting in the arctic ocean.

HIgh pressure area in the winter, caused by all the excess heat going into the water, is just going to get stronger and stronger, so we have a brand new weather pattern developing.

East coast and Europe may need to get used to very cold winters. While the west coast burns up.

If Rachel thought, she wouldn't have just tossed that oil back into the water.

At least Maddow's show made some relevant comments tonite.....like that current cleanup techniques are still based on 1970s technology while drilling a mile under the sea is 21st century state of the art. Some of the billions of oil profits made each year needs to be funneled into research that comes up with much better ways to do a more effective cleanup after a spill.
