Dulane, Sunny, I think the point to be made is simply this:
COMS has it covered.
You want high speed modems? ...we're number 1.
You want ADSL equipment? ...we are there (dunno what percentage of
this tiny market though). You want cable modems? ...we're there
too! (see recent press on this) .....PalmPilot - No. 1 PDA ....
You want pure networking gear? ....Best of Show awards at N+I...
Layer 3...Gigabit...Jesus, what else do you want from them?
...strategic alliances with Tivoli, Gateway, Dell, SeimonsNixdorf,
Ameritech, NewbridgeNetworks ......

Question: If the estimates are hit head-on this quarter, what
is the stock worth at that point?

Dulane, Connection speed is the throughput but the problem is 56k modem's connection speed constantly change if line condition is differ. So initial connction speed reported by Win95 is meaningless. For x2, I think it will attempt to connect at 33.6 initially then automatically fall forward/back as needed. I own COMS but I don't yet believe cablemodem will be matter until I see more breakthrough in standard and security concern.
